Be sure to come on down Friday 2/1, as we've got a whole host of musicians not to be missed!

The Broken Stares start at 8:30pm - this band is comprised of some of the most talented musicians in the traditional scene today, coming from a wide variety of musical backgrounds as well - the combination is an ensemble that can switch from a heart-wrenching song to a fast-paced jazzy fiddle tune in only as long as it takes them to switch instruments.

Bird Courage, a crypt favorite, plays at 9:30! These guys never fail to put on an amazing performance, with beautifully intertwined melodies and harmonies that leave you elated (and with a song stuck in your head.

Last but not least, Paul Sachs closes out the night with a 1030 set - Sachs has a strong voice that reaches out to you, and skilled picking along with "Lyrical and gritty acoustic/folk songs. Real working man's music with sidewalks and subway dirt thrown in."

8:30 Anthony da Costa
"To witness a performance by Anthony da Costa is akin to being invited into a friend's living room. He'll pull out a guitar, then casually say, 'I wrote this song because I was thinking of…', then proceed to share a work of art." (Richard Cuccaro, Acoustic Live Magazine)
9:30 Margaret Glaspy
"These songs matter." (Performer Magazine)
10:30 Aaron Lee Tasjan
“Like running into a talkative speed-freak at a truck stop,” Feed Your Head.com
(also - “…he is real: A young guy who lives life, writes about it and then sings about it. No bullshit or imitating." (Music Vice))
Doors open at 8 and seating in the crypt is limited, so come early and stay late!
*Postcrypt Coffeehouse concerts are always free, acoustic, and open to the public!
